We take our social responsibilities very seriously and conduct our business in accordance with our core values of Integrity, Respect, Commitment and Creativity. Business practices can always be improved and we are committed to understanding more about modern slavery and improving our practices to ensure that Slavery is not present in our business or in our supply chain.
We have taken the following actions to mitigate the risk to our business;
- Our contracts and trading terms reflect current legislation
- Due diligence, audits and training are in place to reduce risk in the supply chain during procurement
- Continual review and assessment of existing supplier
We are constantly working with our internal purchasing team and supply chain to ensure that our policies, procedures and diligence processes are aligned, to eliminate the risk of this practice taking place anywhere in our business.
All employees have been given awareness training of the severity of this practice and how to identify and report potential risks to the business.
We continually endorse Honesty, Integrity and Ethics in all our business operations and demand the same from all our suppliers and partners.
Our organisation will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to ensure that the actions of its employees, suppliers, partners and clients are appropriate. Where actual or potential acts of bribery are observed, this should be reported immediately to senior management.
Bribery is viewed as “the offering, promising, giving, accepting or soliciting of an advantage as an inducement for an action which is illegal, unethical or a breach of trust”.
Breaches of this policy may be viewed as gross misconduct and could result in disciplinary action up to and including instant dismissal.
